Fee Guide for Therapeutic Assessment
- Our TA process is designed to be flexible, personalized, and effective, with fees structured to reflect the therapeutic time we spend together. TA as an intervention is billed at $275 for a 50-minute session, and while the duration provided for each session below is estimated, the flexibility of TA means that session lengths may vary slightly based on your needs.
Session Fee Structure
- Consent, Question Formulation, and Clinical Interview – 50-minute session with a cost of $275
- Clinical Interview – 80-minute session with a cost of $440
- Assessment Intervention Session – 80-minute session with a cost of $440
- Summary and Discussion Session – 80-minute session with a cost of $440
Additional charges for each therapeutic session will apply if the session runs beyond the estimated time or additional sessions are required. There are no additional charges for your psychologist to review and analyze your Background Questionnaire responses or mental health test results. There are also no additional charges for the preparation of the therapeutic letter (written feedback, apprxoimately 2 pages in length) at the end of the TA.
Finally, there are additional costs if a formal psychological report is requested. Such report is billed separately as an assessment product at $275 per hour. This report may or may not be covered by your health insurance, so please confirm with your provider.
Insurance and Billing
Since TA is considered a therapeutic intervention, it is typically eligible for coverage under most health insurance plans. After each session, you will be provided a detailed invoice that can be submitted to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Please check directly with your provider to verify what specific services and products are covered, especially in your request a formal psychological report as further discussed above.
